Our aim is to save our clients money while ensuring a seamless and uncomplicated transition to AmeriClear Rx.

 

We do not profit from “spreads” or undisclosed payments from third parties. Our sole source of revenue is a pre-determined administrative fee that is easily budgeted for and fully disclosed.

 

We do not participate in “spread” practices. Your business will pay what the pharmacy is paid – No More!  We do not manipulate claims, drug codes or price change delays.

 

We provide you and your employees with a “Snapshot” or “Explanation of Benefits” that clearly outlines  what the employee paid, what the employer paid and what the pharmacy was paid on every claim – Information not ordinarily provided by other PBM’s.

 

We do not sell your claims information to drug manufacturers or other third parties. We recognize that this data is powerful and valuable – and at AmeriClear Rx and our partners, this information is protected and NOT FOR SALE.

 

While we do offer mail-order and specialty pharmacy services, we do not own our own facilities and we do not increase our profit by utilizing these services. We strongly encourage the use of local pharmacies who know you and your employees best.

 

We do not charge “Per Prescription Administration” fees to you or the pharmacy filling your claim.

 

We do not have any profit incentive that increases plan costs. Our sole source of revenue is generated by the Per Employee Per Month fee and not from spreads, rebates or by increasing the number of claims.

 

We believe that AmeriClear Rx is the pharmacy benefits standard of the future. Our model will help reduce costs for the American healthcare system, employers and employees across the country.

Nationwide Pharmacy Network – AmeriClear Rx has a nationwide network of over 63,000 pharmacies.

 

Seamless Implementation – We will work to make the transition from your current PBM to the AmeriClear Rx network as smooth as possible for both your employees and your benefits administrator.  We guarantee quick resolution of any eligibility issues with minimum disruptions.

 

No Spread Pricing – Unlike many other pharmacy benefit programs, we will never charge your plan more for a prescription than we pay a pharmacy to fill it. The price the pharmacy is paid is the same price that we will charge your plan. And we will prove it with full-disclosure EOB’s.

 

Simplified Fee Structure - Traditional PBM pricing is needlessly complex.  AmeriClear Rx provides a totally transparent pricing model that is simple to understand and without all of the hidden charges.  Our sole source of income is a per-employee, per-month administration fee.

  

Claims Accuracy -  AmeriClear Rx does not manipulate claims to negatively impact the plan sponsor.  We will not delay price increases or decreases in order to keep a “spread”.  We do not use repackaged NDC numbers that many times lead to higher costs because of pricing formula loopholes.

 

Data Protection – AmeriClear Rx does not sell your employee drug utilization data to drug manufacturers, who might use this information to market to physicians as a method of building market share for expensive brand name medications.  We are committed to generic maximization, which decreases your benefit costs. 

 

Mail Order/Specialty Pharmacy - AmeriClear Rx believes that plan members are best served by utilizing their local pharmacy. However, if there is a need for mail order or specialty pharmacy, we can offer these services while ensuring that the plan sponsor's cost will not be artificially inflated. AmeriClear Rx does not own or operate a mail order facility or specialty pharmacy.

 

Empowered Employees – In addition to fast, accurate and flexible reporting for you to audit, we send EOB mailings and related patient-education materials to your employees.  The reports show employees their own out-of-pocket expense as well as what their employer paid on their behalf.  When employees know the truth, they fully appreciate what their employer is spending on pharmacy benefits.
